Shred Typing!! This video is my parody of the new breed of 'Shred Guitarists' that put speed before anything else. In fact it seems speed is the ONLY thing that matters. Forget playing in key, forget 'feel' and 'emotion'... just SPEED. They have INCREDIBLE technical ability but what comes out is as interesting as a print out of my shred typing. Done fast but it's just a load of nonsense. It's hardly Hemingway. Some of these shredders are just 'finger gymnasts', not musicians. Still, each to his own but to abuse a guitar with that sort of mentality is a shameful waste of a perfectly good musical instrument.
